I found some JavaScript from Adobe that promises to fix that. As far as my Drupal content... Migrating to, from, and in between Drupal is a nightmare. Everything seems to be rolling on 20's up here at my folks place (IE7 on WinXP). Your twitter widget might need the js that prevents the "Click to activate and use this control" thing in IE... but seems to be functioning correctly once clicked.
